What is PMP ?
The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers which is globally acceptable. As a PMP, you can work in virtually any industry, with any methodology and in any location.
PMP certification validates that you have the project leadership skills employers seek. The new PMP includes three key approaches:
- Predictive (waterfall)
- Agile
- Hybrid

Prerequisites for the PMP Application
- Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
- 7,500 hours leading and directing projects
- 35 hours of project management education
or
- Four-year degree
- 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
- 35 hours of project management education
Exam Format
180 Multiple choice questions, out of which 5 are pretest questions.
Exam Fee
For PMI members it is USD 405 & for non-members, it is USD 555.
For Indians, it is Rs. 23,459 for members and for non-members it is Rs. 42,863.
Exam Format
4 hours computer based testing.
